* Synod on Synodality Implementing a SYNODAL WAY of Proclaiming Christ and God’s Kingdom Today – Synod Implementation in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Saskatoon was launched Nov. 9 by Bishop Mark Hagemoen. Find more information at: https://rcdos.ca/syond
“Synodality is a process in the Catholic Church described as walking together through mutual listening, dialogue and discernment – wisely together using the gift of our human faculties to determine what God’s will for us is. And we don’t just do that personally, we do that together. It is a way that the Church’s members – the laity, priests, bishops – everybody – participate in the Church’s mission and discern God’s will through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Synodality involves spiritual renewal and structural reform – in other words it affects structures and the way we organize things, – with the goal of helping the church be participatory and missionary.”

When families cannot access support at home or in care facilities, their loved ones can feel abandoned or forced into choices they never wanted like medically-provided death (known as MAiD) Together, we can urge provincial leaders to strengthen palliative care, invest in home supports, and ensure that every person receives care that honours life at every stage. Take one minute to make a difference: visit the “No Options, No Choice” website to send your letter to the government: https://www.nooptionsnochoice.com/english/take-action-saskatchewan-consent.
