Support for Catechists in the Diocese of Saskatoon

The diocesan Office of Rural Catechesis presents two options for enrichment, training and best practices throughout this 2026-2027 ministry year:

Catechist Connection – online

Catechist Connection is a one-hour online gathering that brings catechists from across the diocese together for encouragement, learning, and sharing. Each session includes a short teaching to deepen and strengthen your ministry, followed by open conversation and the sharing of practical ideas and best practices. Choose either noon to 1 p.m. OR 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for online sessions offered on the following dates: Oct. 6, Nov. 3, Dec. 1, Jan. 12, Feb.2, March 2, April 6, and May 4. Catechetical Forum – in person in four deaneries

The Catechetical Forum is a day designed to renew, encourage, and equip those who teach the faith in parishes across the Roman Catholic Diocese of Saskatoon. Gatherings at different locations across the diocese will include focused teaching, round-table discussion, prayer and reflection, and the sharing of practical ideas and best practices, with each event held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.:

Msgr. Michael J. Koch Resource Library: INFORMATION

The Michael J Koch Resource Library is located in the Catholic Pastoral Centre, on the second floor of the Cathedral of the Holy Family, 123 Nelson Road, Saskatoon (elevator available) — it includes faith enrichment resources such as books and DVDs. The Catholic Centre is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to noon and from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Borrow books, DVDs, etc!
