Name Tag SundayA free webinar Wednesday, May 8 will be presented by Daniel Pettipas – choose to join at either 1:30 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. to learn how easy it is to implement a Name Tag Sunday in a parish. Participants will also receive a webinar hand-out, emailed with the registration link.

About the presenter – Coordinator of Evangelization and Adult Faith Formation at Saint Anne Parish in Saskatoon Daniel Pettipas hasa BA in Religion and Culture, and is passionate about growing parishioners into passionate parish leaders through dynamic relational ministry and empowering the whole parish community to take up the mission of Jesus Christ to make disciples of all nations.

This webinar is one of two follow-up sessions to the diocesan Spring Congress 2024 on “Making Every Sunday Matter.”

The second follow-up event is Prayer Ministry Training – An in-person workshop Tuesday May 14 presented by John and Tracy Connelly at the Cathedral of the Holy Family (Bishop Klein room) in Saskatoon, beginning with a light supper at 5:15 p.m., followed by the presentation at 6:30 p.m., exploring “What is Prayer Ministry? How do I practice it?” Learn about the foundations of prayer ministry and healing as explained in scripture and Catholic teaching and the current practice of prayer ministry in the Church, and experience step-by-step hands-on practice of prayer ministry during this training session. About the presenters – John Connelly currently works as a Conference speaker, Retreat leader and Ministry Consultant. With a B.A. in Psychology and Tracy Connelly is a Catholic life-coach offering spiritual accompaniment to women and families. With experience in diocesan Evangelization and Catechesis and Catholic Youth Ministry, John and Tracy offer practical faith-filled teaching that can be applied to daily life. They have been married for 28 years and have eight children ranging from ages 11 to 27 years. They currently enjoy small-town life in Bruno, SK.
