Bus ticket deadline – for bus to Rama pilgrimage

Bus available from Saskatoon and Humboldt for Rama Pilgrimage:

A charter bus has been booked to take pilgrims to Rama Pilgrimage events Monday, Aug. 14 only, leaving at 12:00 p.m. noon at St. Patrick Parish, 3339 Centennial Drive, Saskatoon (for west-side pilgrims) and at 12:15 p.m. from Market Mall, Preston Avenue, Saskatoon (for east-side pilgrims), with a stop in Humboldt at 1:15 p.m. to pick up pilgrims travelling to the Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine at the pilgrimage site of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Rama.

The bus will return to Humboldt and Saskatoon that evening.

For more information and to book bus tickets ($36 each) before the Aug. 4 deadline, Saskatoon pilgrims are asked to call Mila (306) 664-3695 and Humboldt pilgrims are asked to call Nestor (306) 683-2048.

Cost is $36 with payment needed by Friday, Aug. 4; no refunds (though you can have someone replace you on the bus.) Please dress accordingly and arrange transportation / pick you up at Market Mall and St. Patrick locations. No need to bring a chair. Pews are reserve for pilgrims from Saskatoon and Humboldt.

Rama Pilgrimage will be held Aug. 14-15 at the Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes, located at St. Anthony Church, 104 – 1st St N, Rama, SK, beginning at 3 p.m. Aug. 14 (Mass at 8 p.m. with Archbishop Donald Bolen) and continuing from 8:30 a.m. to noon Aug. 15 with Mass in Polish, Divine Liturgy in the Byzantine Rite and Mass in English with anointing of the sick, etc.  Find more information about the Rama pilgrimage at www.Ramashrine.ca

The Saint Philomena Walking Pilgrimage, sponsored by the Archdiocese of Regina, will be happening again this year Aug. 11-14, 2023. The walking pilgrimage starts on Aug. 11 in Yorkton and finish on Aug. 14 at Rama (where an annual pilgrimage is held Aug. 14-15). Saint Philomena Walking Pilgrimage is a guided pilgrimage with rest stops, meals, support vehicles, and a trailer carrying tents and sleeping gear to each overnight stop.
