Millennium Cross Pilgrimage

The 100-foot Millennium Cross is located north of Aberdeen on Highway 40. The annual pilgrimage at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13 includes praying of the rosary, speakers, displays. Guest Speaker is Fr. Bassim Shoni, Pastor of Sacred Heart Chaldean Catholic Church in Saskatoon.

Join in prayer, reflection and community at the 24th annual Millennium Cross Pilgrimage 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13. The pilgrimage cross is a beloved local landmark that has lit up the night sky for the past 25 years, standing as a 100-foot beacon of hope and faith, located 10 kilometres northeast of Aberdeen, SK, on Highway 41. The sacred site proudly acknowledges its place on Treaty 6 territory, on land donated by the Bayda family, serving as a place of pilgrimage prayer and healing for all dedicated to the sanctity of human life at every stage.

The pilgrimage begins at 3 p.m. with a Living Rosary, offered with the intention of building a culture of life. The 2026 keynote address will be presented by Fr. Bassim Shoni of Sacred Heart Chaldean Catholic Church in Saskatoon.

After the program, all are invited to stay for a time of fellowship and a light lunch, providing an opportunity to connect and share in the spirit of community.
