Lenten 40 relay run

Challenge yourself this Lent with the Lenten 40, a 40-km relay run/walk along the river in Saskatoon held right before Holy Week on Saturday, April 12. Sign up as a team of two, three, or four.

Meditate on the suffering of Jesus and think of the Via Dolorosa (the path Jesus took on his way to the crucifixion, often translated to “the way of suffering”). Whether you’re an avid runner or have never run before, this is about showing up and giving it all to God.

Stations of the Cross will be prayed the night before Friday, April 11 at 7 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Holy Family, and the Lenten 40 event begins at 8 a.m. Saturday, April 12 with package pick-up and prayer; the walk/run begins at 9 a.m. from the Cathedral at the corner of Attridge Drive and Forestry Farm Park Drive.
