Bishop’s Annual Appeal 2026 – Parishes across the Roman Catholic Diocese of Saskatoon have launched the Bishop’s Annual Appeal starting the weekend of Sept. 26-27, encouraging parishioners to support a range of vital ministries and programs in the diocese and beyond. This year’s theme is “Called to Respond – Living the Father’s Will.”

BAA Featured Ministry – Office of Migration: The Bishop’s Annual Appeal plays a vital role in sustaining the work of the diocesan Migration Office and its ministry to welcome newcomers. As a government-approved Sponsorship Agreement Holder (SAH), the Roman Catholic Diocese of Saskatoon continues to respond with compassion and urgency to the global refugee crisis, working with parishes and sponsorship groups in the community to help families and individuals fleeing war, violence and persecution. Contributions to the appeal to answer the Gospel call of compassion: “I was a stranger, and you welcomed me.” –Matthew 25:35.
