Jubilee Walking Pilgrimage to Shrine of Our Lady of Mount Carmel

Jubilee Year Walking Pilgrimage to Shrine of Our Lady of Mount Carmel will be held Sunday, Aug. 17, 2025, with pilgrims walking from St. Augustine Parish, Humboldt or from St. Bruno Parish, Bruno to the Mount Carmel Shrine north of Carmel, SK.

Pilgrims will leave St. Augustine Church in Humboldt at 9 a.m. (23 km), from St. Bruno Parish at 11:30 a.m. (12 km) and from the Gaudet Farm at 3:30 p.m. (1 km; call 306-281-2013 for details. The walks to the Mount Carmel shrine will include praying of the Rosary, praise and worship, and fellowship. Those unable to walk to the shrine site are invited to drive to the hill to take part in events.

Confessions at the hill will be held at 4 p.m. with celebration of Mass at 5 p.m., followed by testimonials and praise and worship. The Sacrament of the Sick will be celebrated immediately after Mass. Bring your own picnic supper, blanket or chair, etc.
