End-of-life Care Pastoral Response – The St. Bruno Catholic Women’s League (CWL) will host a presentation on “End of Life Care and A Pastoral Response,” at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9 at St. Bruno Parish Hall, 700 Kirby Street, Bruno, SK. All are welcome.
Hospital Chaplain Jacqueline Saretsky will speak about the truth behind palliative care: what it is and what isn’t, as well as the top reasons why people choose medically-provided euthanasia / assisted suicide; and how the Church can respond pastorally during these times.
Jackie Saretsky is the Coordinator of Hospital Chaplaincy for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Saskatoon. She has a passion for educating people on the dignity of human life and good end-of-life care. The presentation is suitable for all ages.
