Catechesis of the Good Shepherd “Come and See”

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd for young children – The All Saints Atrium at St. Philip Neri Parish is hosting a “Come and See” event from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 13: anyone over the age of 16 is invited to learn more about the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program.
Come and See how adults and children journey in faith pondering scripture and liturgy in a peaceful environment specially prepared for them, called “the atrium.”
The “Come and See” afternoon will include a short presentation, tour of the atrium and fellowship. For more information contact Cynthia Foster at lc.foster@sasktel.net.
Please note the upcoming training event for those interested in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd: The Spirituality of Childhood – Level 1 formation in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd will be offered July 2-7, 2024 at Holy Rosary Cathedral in Regina. This intensive, hands-on week of training is for leaders to facilitate the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd for the youngest children, ages 3-6 years. It engages hand, head, and heart, immersing the adult in scripture, liturgy, theology, and prayer so as to support the needs and spiritual growth of the young child. Each course is a minimum commitment of 90 hours, with readings and written work required.
