“Aim for Healing” event at Millennium Pro-Life Cross

* An “Aim for Healing” event in the Eparchy of Saskatoon will be held on Saturday, Sept. 13 at the Millennium Pro-Life Cross site north of Aberdeen (the day before the annual pilgrimage).
“Aim for Healing” will include an optional 40-km bike pilgrimage to the site of the 100-foot cross north of Aberdeen starting at 10 a.m. Sept. 13 (registration is required before Sept. 7 by e-mailing: info@millenniumcross.ca).
Then from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 13 there will be a Head and Heart program at the cross site, about deepening faith with the healing of significant relationships. Activities, prayer, and speakers address topics such as parents and siblings, friendship, leadership at work and in parenting, and cultivating a relationship with God. Hand and Heart speakers include:
- Fr. Ivan Nahachewsky: Parish priest in the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Saskatoon, military chaplain, intrepid cyclist and wilderness trekker, husband and dad;
- Deborah Larmour: Catechist, canon lawyer, wife, mother and grandmother;
- Hudson Byblow: Teacher, Catholic speaker, sacred music enthusiast;
- Sofia Larmour: Staffing advisor for the RCMP, loves running and athletic pursuits, following Christ and sharing faith; and
- Logan and Elise Michallshen: Parents of active young children committed to passing on the faith in their family.
