“Oasis” is a diocesan adult faith formation event that includes powerful testimonies from those who have experienced the transformative impact of an adult faith mission trip – offering insights and inspiration drawn from their journeys of faith and service. The Called and Gifted mission team included Sr. Malou Tibayan of the Verbum Dei Missionary Fraternity, Brenda and Jim Tryhuba, Anne Williams, Cameron Choquette, and Astrid Alas.
“Oasis” also features Eucharistic Adoration, providing a sacred time for deep reflection and encounter with the Lord. The night is enriched by worship led by Matthew Marcoux, the opportunity for confession, and prayer, creating an environment where participants can find peace, healing, and spiritual refreshment. “Oasis” is a time to gather, share in the fruits of faith, and draw closer to God together.

Feminine Genius III – At this women’s breakfast and adult faith formation event, Sr. Malou Tibayan of the Verbum Dei Missionary Fraternity will share new insights into the gifts and contributions of women to the Church, society, and the world. “Surrender” Lenten Retreat
“Surrender” diocesan adult faith formation retreat was held on March 15, 2025 with Fr. Gerard Cooper inviting participants to embark on a profound Lenten journey of letting go and trusting in God’s will. This retreat focused on the theme of surrender, encouraging attendees to release their burdens, fears, and doubts as they draw closer to the heart of Christ. Through powerful teachings, prayerful reflection, and worship, “Surrender” provided a sacred space for individuals to encounter God’s grace in a transformative way.
