New Evangelization Summit: two host sites in diocese of Saskatoon

The New Evangelization Summit (NES) is an international event inspiring thousands of Catholics to be engaged in the New Evangelization.

This year it will be broadcast live to two sites in the diocese of Saskatoon on Saturday, May 4, 2019: at the Cathedral of the Holy Family in Saskatoon and at St. Mary's Parish in Macklin, SK. Register online at for this free event.

If you have questions about the New Evangelization Summit being held in the Diocese of Saskatoon, contact Marilyn Jackson of the diocesan Office of Evangelization and Catechesis at (306) 659-5836 or

At both the Saskatoon and Macklin sites, NES will begin at 8:15 a.m. and concludes at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, May 4.

This live-streamed conference will bring together speakers who are leaders in the New Evangelization to provide inspiration, encouragement, training, practical wisdom and resources on how Catholics can effectively evangelize. All Catholics – pastors, missionaries, lay ministers, and the lay faithful – will benefit immensely from this powerful opportunity to be further equipped in the fundamental mission of the Church.

Goals of NES: To Inspire, To Form, To Connect.

Speakers include:

• Fr. James Mallon, founder of Diviine Renovation Ministry

• Gérald Cardinal Lacroix, Archbishop of Quebec

• Michael Dopp, founder of Mission of the Redeemer Ministries

• Fr. Jon Bielawski and Michele Thompson, co-developers of the Genesis Mission
• Michelle Moran, founding member of Sion Catholic Community for Evangelism
The annual NES will be held in Ottawa and streamed to 52 host-sites. The broadcasting of the event will provide a way for Catholics from around North America to participate in the Summit. Thus approximately 5000 like-minded Catholics from across the continent will be united in one goal – to be formed as evangelists and be part of a network of Catholic evangelists.
