DESCRIPTION:Devotion to the Holy Face of Jesus – A gathering to pray\, reflect and meditate upon the Holy Face of Jesus is held at 7:45 p.m. every first Tuesday of the month at St. Paul Co-Cathedral\, 720 Spadina Crescent East\, Saskatoon.  \n\n\n\nThe devotion consists of the Chaplet to the Holy Face\, and prayers of reparation\, and takes about 30 minutes. Participants typically stay afterwards for questions\, shared stories\, and personal meditation. The local group includes members of the Archconfraternity of the Holy Face (established in 1876 in Tours\, France and elevated to an Archconfraternity by Pope Leo XIII in 1885.) \n\n\n\nDATES include: Oct. 6\, Nov. 3\, Dec. 1\, Jan. 5\, Feb. 2\, March 2\, April 6\, May 4\, June 1.

DESCRIPTION:Make a statement and take part by wearing red\, learning more\, and praying for those who are persecuted for their faith.  Red Wednesday is an International Day of Prayer\, action\, and awareness about the persecution of Christians around the world.   \n\n\n\nA one-hour ecumenical prayer service will be held on Wednesday\, Nov. 18\, at 7:00 p.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church\, 222 Willow Street\, Saskatoon (on the corner of Melrose Avenue and Hilliard Street.) Local Christian leaders will be present to pray and reflect during the service.
