SUMMARY:Rite of Election
DESCRIPTION:All are welcome to join Bishop Mark Hagemoen for the diocesan celebration of the Rite of Election with those who are preparing to join the Catholic Church at Easter in parishes across our diocese. This annual event is held on the First Sunday of Lent\, 3 p.m. Sunday\, March 9 at the Cathedral of the Holy Family\, 123 Nelson Road\, Saskatoon\, SK. \n\n\n\nThe celebration of the Rite of Election includes Mass\, a special blessing for catechumens who are preparing for Baptism\, Confirmation and Eucharist\, and a special blessing for candidates who are already baptized and who will make a profession of faith in the Catholic Church during the Easter season.  \n\n\n\nA reception will follow. \n\n\n\nFor more information\, please contact the diocesan Director of Ministry Services\, Marilyn Jackson at (306) 659-5836.
