DESCRIPTION:World Day of Prayer 2025 “I Made You Wonderful” (Psalm 139: 1-18)  \n\n\n\nThe World Day of Prayer is traditionally celebrated on the first Friday of March\, though communities can choose other dates. A different participating country writes the service each year\, and for 2025\, it was Christian women of the Cook Islands.  \n\n\n\nIn Saskatoon\, ecumenical services will be held on Friday\, March 7 at several locations: \n\n\n\n• St. Martin United Church\, 2617 Clarence Ave. S. starting at 1:30 p.m.  \n\n\n\n• St. Matthew Anglican Church\, 135-109th Street\, starting at 2:00 p.m.  \n\n\n\n• St. John Bosco Catholic Church\, 1202 Avenue O S.\, starting at 2:00 p.m.  \n\n\n\nAs well\, all are invited to the national online World Day of Prayer service at 12 p.m. on Saturday\, March 15 led by members of the Women’s Inter-Church Council of Canada. DESCRIPTION:Contemplative Mass with Fr. Kevin McGee will be held 5 p.m. Friday\, March 7 at St. Mary Catholic Church\, 211 Ave. O South\, Saskatoon. The rhythm of the Contemplative Mass is a gentle\, steady flow\, marked by 20 minutes of silence after communion\, designated to allow space for reflection and recognition of the intimate presence of Christ who comes to us through scripture and the Eucharist. Silence in this form of worship can feel uncomfortable or awkward\, especially when experienced for the first time. Relax and rest in the abiding presence of God.
