SUMMARY:"A Catholic Approach to Outreach" workshop
DESCRIPTION:Join in this workshop to find out what it means for Catholics to serve our neighbours\, how to do it\, and what motivates us\, as well as to get some hands-on training on respectful ways to encounter and serve those who are house-less or facing material poverty. \n\n\n\nThe one-day “Catholic Approach to Outreach” – workshop will be held 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.\, Saturday\, Feb. 1 at the Cathedral of the Holy Family\, 123 Nelson Road\, Saskatoon\,  Guest presentations will be given by Catholic Street Missionaries\, the Salvation Army\, and others. \n\n\n\nThis workshop is intended to inspire and provide practical tools. DESCRIPTION:Turn Debt Into Hope – Worldwide Caritas Campaign:  \n\n\n\nOur Holy Father Pope Francis has called us all to journey on a pilgrimage of hope this year of Jubilee. But\, at the same time\, there are over 3.3 billion people in our world who live in countries wracked with spiraling national debt costs.  \n\n\n\nPope Francis calls on all the Catholic faithful to journey towards Jubilee justice this year\, by taking a stand to promote fairness in international debt relief amid the climate crisis. Join Development and Peace – Caritas Canada (DPCC) as we respond to this call in our parish and diocesan communities.  \n\n\n\nA Saskatoon and area Share Lent workshop (English) will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday\, Feb. 1 at Saints-Martyrs-Canadiens Parish\, 1007 Windsor Street\, Saskatoon\, followed by the DPCC Diocesan Annual General Meeting.
