Vicarious Trauma and Resiliency Building Skills Workshop: For those who minister to others (pastors, parents caring for children, children caring for parents), months or even years of caring for other people’s struggles and problems can lead to vicarious trauma or compassion fatigue.

The diocese of Saskatoon has invited Lorie Harrison, a registered professional counsellor with Legacy Ridge, to present for a second time (after positive feedback of a presentation in January 2019), to provide information on how to spots signs of and manage vicarious trauma by developing resiliency skills. This session will be offered twice on Thursday, April 11, in the afternoon at 1-4 p.m. and again at 7-9 p.m. at Holy Family Cathedral, 123 Nelson Road, Saskatoon. There will be a $15 charge at the door. Please register for your preferred time April 11, by contacting Brigitte at (306) 242-1500.
