This webinar hosted by the Catholic dioceses of Vancouver, Victoria and Saskatoon, and is designed for clergy, religious, diocesan or parish staff and volunteers, educators, members of the Catholic Women’s League or Knights of Columbus, and anyone who wishes to learn more about human trafficking.
The new study guide was created in a joint effort by the three dioceses as a call to mission, to reduce the harms of human trafficking in our local communities and uphold the dignity of every child of God. It is informed by the 2021 Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB) 2021 Pastoral Letter on Human Trafficking and Sexual Exploitation in Canada. Divided into four sections, this guide delves deeper into the pastoral letter and animates it in each specific community context. Each section follows a particular learning model of See, Learn, Pray, Act. The intent is to bring people together in dialogue in local parishes and other community settings.
