Saskatoon Prayer Breakfast
April 6 @ 8:00 am - 10:00 am
The purpose of the Saskatoon Prayer Breakfast is for the faith community of Saskatoon and area to come together and pray for and encourage our elected officials from our city, surrounding communities, province and country.
The 2019 Prayer Breakfast will be held Saturday, April 6 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Prairieland Park, 503 Ruth Street West, Saskatoon. (Doors open at 7:30 a.m.)
Guest speaker is Bill Adsit. For his first 5 years of life Bill was exposed to a violent father and two alcoholic parents. From age 5 to 15 he was in a residential school in the Yukon year round. He went on to serve 38 years in the Canadian military and several different departments within the Government of Canada before assuming a leadership role with his own band, the Tahltan First Nation. Today, Bill is a Business Development Officer for Arrow Transport Systems and a board member for BC Hydro. Join us to hear how Bill moved past deep hurts and anger to achieve great success in his professional and personal life. “God has given me the power to change my life! To forgive and move on when you get hurt badly is not something one can do simply out of human strength.”
