Religion and the 2019 General Election – A Multifaith Dialogue at STM on Sept 18 2019

With the Canadian federal election soon to begin, St. Thomas More College is hosting a multifaith discussion on the role that religion plays in politics.

The discussion at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18 will be moderated by Dr. David McGrane from the St. Thomas More College Political Studies Department. The speakers will include Sandra Beardsall (Christian), Tajinder Grewal (Sikh), and Amara Zuhaib (Muslim). Each speaker will be asked to elaborate on how their religious tradition sees the connections between faith and political activity.

The event will be in STM 140, St. Thomas More COllege, 1437 College Drive, University of Saskatchewan campus, Saskatoon. Everyone is welcome!
