Fatal Flaws documentary on legalized euthanasia

Documentary about legalized euthanasia and assisted suicide – All are welcome to a viewing of the documentary film “Fatal Flaws” at 6:30 p.m. (sharp) on Tuesday June 4 at St. Philip Neri Parish, Munroe Avenue and Taylor Street, Saskatoon.
Following the screening of the documentary, there will be a discussion facilitated by Dr. Mary (Deutscher) Heilman, bioethicist for St. Paul’s Hospital and the Catholic Health Association of Saskatchewan (CHAS).
The film “Fatal Flaws – Legalizing Assisted Death” covers one of the most contentious issues of our time. First, the documentary examines whether euthanasia and assisted suicide are a form of compassion. Secondly, it addresses the myth of autonomy and the idea that decisions of doctor and patient operate in a vacuum. Finally, the film asks: can safeguards protect the vulnerable?
