Carmel Pilgrimage

Mount Carmel Pilgrimage will be held Sunday, July 21, 2024 at the Shrine of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, located 5.2 kilometres north of Carmel, SK, beginning at 9:30 a.m. with Marian hymns, rosary and confessions. The pilgrimage continues with outdoor Mass at 10:45 a.m., with Bishop Mark Hagemoen presiding, as well as blessing of the fields and blessing of the sick.
Mass will be followed by lunch (concession available) and time with the Blessed Sacrament, as well as Stations of the Cross (in groups) around the hill at the picturesque prairie pilgrimage site.
Bus to the Carmel Pilgrimage – The Knights of Columbus are offering a bus service from Saskatoon to travel to the Mount Carmel Pilgrimage site (east of Humboldt) on Sunday, July 21, 2024. Travel time one way is approx. 1.5 hours. A 50 passenger bus (First Student) will be leaving Holy Family Cathedral, 123 Nelson Road, Saskatoon at 8:30 am, returning at 4:30 pm. The cost will be $15per person. $25 per family. There will be room for lawn chairs, coolers etc. Payment must be made at time of booking by calling/ texting Garry Maier at 306 221-5893 emai garrymaier@outlook.com. Please book as soon as possible to ensure a seat. Payment can be made by etransfer, cash, cc or cheque.
