The diocesan Adult Faith Awaken program presents a four-part series on “The Church of the New Evangelization” 7-9 pm, WEDNESDAYS, Oct. 25, Nov. 1, Nov. 8, Nov. 15, and Nov. 22.
Explore the Second Vatican Council as an introduction to unpacking four of the documents focusing on evangelization, written by Pope Paul VI, Pope John Paul II, Pope Benedict XVI and Pope Francis:
- Oct. 25: An Overview of the Second Vatican Council with Sister Mirasol Abala
- Nov. 1: Evangelii Nuntiandi (Evangelization in the Modern World) with Marilyn Jackson
- Nov. 8: Spe Salvi (Saved in Hope) with Bishop Mark Hagemoen
- Nov. 15: Christefideles Laici (The Vocation and the Mission of the Lay Faithful) with Sr. Malou Tibayan
- Nov. 22: Evangelii Gaudium (The Joy of the Gospel) with Father David Tumback – Please note that this session will be held at St. Patrick Parish, 3339 Centennial Drive, Saskatoon
