Awake: what do Catholics believe?
November 25 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 7:00 pm on Monday, repeating until November 26, 2019
AWAKE: Our journey of faith always begins with questions. What do Catholics really believe? How do we understand…
What is grace?
What exactly is purgatory?
What about church authority and what is the infallibility of the pope?
How do I live my sexuality as a Catholic?
How can I live my faith in my marriage? Is divorce allowed in the Catholic Church?
Where does Mary and the saints come into our faith life?
What about Catholic Practices?
What are the gifts of the Holy Spirit?
Who is the Body of Christ?
Can I figure out Catholic doctrine?
Join us for five Mondays for an in-depth discussion on the topics listed – and more – and we’d love to hear your questions during these sessions. This program will be facilitated and taught by Arch McKay who also presents the Holy Spirit Parish RCIA program.
The meetings foster reflection, prayer, and honest sharing in a setting of hospitality and acceptance.
The process is simple and inviting. The group will meet Oct. 21, Oct. 28, Nov. 4, Nov. 18 and Nov. 25 — all beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Holy Spirit Parish, 114 Kingsmere Place, Saskatoon.
